I've just finished revising the look and content of my photography website (http://www.sessomsphotographics.com) and decided that it would be nice to add a photography blog.
I've had a passion for photography every since I was seventeen years old. I started drawing when I was six years old and decide when I was 11 that I would be creating art in one form or another for the remainder of my life.
My first camera purchase was a Minolta 101, I think that was the name of the camera. It was a film camera. I shot black and white Kodak Tri-X 400 ASA film and processed and printed the images in my bathroom.
Over the years that passed I moved from using Minolta cameras to shooting with the Nikon F2 and I have shot with Nikon cameras every since. I had Nikon F5, N and FX cameras, 23mm through to 300mm Nikkor lens, a complete set of Hoya filter. I love the results that I got using Nikon cameras. so when I went digital I stuck with Nikon. Today i shoot with the Nikon D200 and a small assortment of lens.
I try to spend my time doing the things that I enjoy most, which includes consulting, graphic design, website design and photography.
I encourage all to post your thoughts about digital or film workflow and any Lightroom or Photoshop tips and work arounds, etc.
Thanks for visiting my site.
